It consists of tiny cells called pixels that emit ultravoilet light when electrically charged, which then illuminates the phosphors to create the desiered colours.
Plasma displays are bright (1,000 lux or higher for the display module), have a wide colour gamut, and can be produced in fairly large sizes up to 3.8 metres (150 inches) diagonally.
